We, Rimi Maity and Mimi Maity, have been associated with Shiamak Davar for more than a decade transforming our journey from students to educators, empowering children of all age groups with the power of the performing arts in numerous schools across Mumbai from C. P. Goenka International School, Eva World School, Ira Global School, The Universal School, Swami Vivekanand International School, Indo Scots Global School, HVB Global Academy, Amulakh Amichand International School, Delhi World Public School, Billabong High International School, Gold Crest High School, SVKM JV Parekh International School and many more as a part of regular curriculum.

FOUNDERS’ NOTE

As the Founders and Artistic Directors, our aim through Rimi-Mimi Dance Education (RMDE)is to share the benefits of dance with students in their formative years.

MISSION:Our mission is to spread the joy of dance, while inspiring self-confidence, discipline and respect of the performing arts. Using dance therapeutic power, our purpose is to help individuals of all ages become aware and connect with their whole selves - mind, body and spirit.

OBJECTIVE:The objective behind starting RMDE is to reach out to children empowering them with the power of the performing arts, making it a part of the regular curriculum with a specially designed syllabus at the convenience of their school premises.

AIM: Using dance as a medium of physical activity and creativity, this program aims at channelizing students energy in a resourceful manner. Our aim is to provide quality dance education, inculcate proper techniques and provide wholesome training.
